Candida auris is associated with significant morbidity and healthcare-associated transmission due to its ability to spread in healthcare settings, persist in the environment, and develop resistance to multiple antifungal agents, making accurate and timely identification critical to both patient management and infection prevention.
Partnering with Labroots, in this webinar, Preeti Pancholi, PhD, D (ABMM), will review the evolving epidemiology of C. auris, current diagnostic approaches including MALDI-TOF and molecular methods, and the growing challenge of antifungal resistance.
