Compatibility between reagents/calibrators and instruments is defined in the product documentation for each platform.
The Immunodiagnostics section lists assays that are designed for LIAISON® XL and LIAISON® XS analyzers.
The Luminex section associates reagents and kits with MAGPIX®, Luminex 200™, FLEXMAP 3D®, INTELLIFLEX® and related instruments.
How to verify compatibility
- Identify the platform.
- Check whether the reagent is labeled for LIAISON®, Verigene® or Luminex.
- Consult the IFU or package insert
The IFU states explicitly which instrument(s) the reagent is validated for. - Use Diasorin and Luminex product pages.
Instrument pages and software pages (e.g. xPONENT® software) indicate which kits and accessories are compatible with each system.
If uncertainty remains, contact Technical Support via the Service & Support section or local offices (Diasorin Worldwide).
Because each product may have specific storage requirements, the IFU and label are always the reference source.
To store Diasorin reagents correctly, you should:
- Follow exactly the temperature range printed on the label (e.g. 2–8 °C or 15–30 °C, depending on the product).
- Keep reagents in their original bottles or packaging, unopened until use.
- Do not freeze reagents or cassettes unless explicitly allowed in the IFU.
- Do not use reagents beyond their expiration date.
For any doubt, consult the IFU, SDS or your local Diasorin representative.

For Immunodiagnostics, when there is a new IFU there will be an orange sticker on the kit box which alerts the user to the new IFU. The changes to the IFU will be shown in blue in IFU.
For Molecular and Luminex LTG, the customer must periodically compare the IFU’s for changes that may occur, unless the regulations require notifications to customers.
For Immunodiagnostics and Molecular products:
You will need the catalog code and lot number from the box of the kit or from the product order.
You can follow the Dialog brochure (https://dialogmanual.diasorin.com/html5forpc.html?page=0) to navigate Dialog drop-down options without a lot number. You will need a lot number to access the current version of the IFU.
For Liaison NES:
The IFU’s are available on the dedicated website https://us.diasorin.com/en/liaison-nes.
For Luminex LTG products (Product Documentation):
