Several next-generation <em>Shigella</em> vaccines are under development to achieve broad protective coverage. A multiplexed assay to measure vaccine‑induced seroreactivity to <em>S. sonnei</em> and <em>S. flexneri</em> serotypes, IpaB, and common vaccine carrier proteins was developed and qualified for use in early clinical studies.
