Mad for Science for Teachers
Training in innovation
About the project
Mad for Science for Teachers was created to support the continuous theoretical and experimental training of teachers in the “Mad for Science” network, in the field of Life Sciences.
The project, developed by the Diasorin Foundation in the academic year 2021/2022, aims to concretely support science teachers at the winning schools of the “Mad for Science” competition to use the technologies available to them as a result of winning the competition and in teaching science in the laboratory.

With training courses and webinars led by scientists on topics related to frontier research, Diasorin aims to develop over time a network of schools of excellence, characterized by constant innovation in the teaching of science.
A scientific committee, composed of education experts, science teachers and university professors in the field of biomedicine, supervises the project initiatives, ensuring they fit into the school context and meet teachers’ training needs.
Through this project, the Diasorin Foundation aims to develop over time a network of schools of excellence, characterized by constant innovation in the teaching of science. A Mad for Science Community made up of schools and teachers who are “crazy about science” and are eager to engage young people in an exciting and surprising scientific experience.
